Air-to-water intercooling is the future for forced induction vehicles, so it's no surprise when the BMW and Toyota tag-team integrated their system directly into the intake manifold for these new aged sports cars. This might maximize the cooling efficiency of the B58, but there are still some shortcomings, especially when it comes to the A90 and G29's heat exchanger. Luckily, we here at Mishimoto have the solution.

Mishimoto also expanded our heat exchanger's size, adding 31% in core volume and 48% to the external fin surface area. Combined with our dual-pass flow configuration and louvered fin design, we were able to record a 5-7°F drop in intake air temperatures, along with a more consistent global intercooler coolant temperature.
