Introduced March 1990 in Japan, the Sera was based on the AXV-II concept car. The Sera's most notable feature is its glass canopy and butterfly doors which tilt up and forward when opened.

The car in the picture is used in the Toyota Sprint Series and is believed to be the only Sera used in competition in the UK.
